ABAC Guidelines

The ABAC Scheme is the centrepiece of Australia’s quasi-regulatory system for alcohol marketing and is administered by a Management Committee which includes industry, advertising and government representatives.  WFA represents the Wine Industry on this committee. 

The ABAC mandate ensures guidelines for marketing have been negotiated with government and consumer complaints are handled independently. All costs are borne by industry.
