National Viticulture Biosecurity Committee
The National Viticulture Biosecurity Committee, was set up as a joint initiative between WFA and Australian Vignerons. It was designed to set industry strategy and ensures the wine sector’s interests are represented when national policy is developed through Plant Health Australia.
Entwine Australia
WFA developed industry's national environment assurance program Entwine Australia, growing it more than 700 vineyards and winery members from it's inception in 2009.
In 2015, WFA transferred ongoing management of this voluntary assurance program to The Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI) to enable research and innovations in environmental management to be incorporated.
WFA endorses Entwine Australia as the principle vehicle to convey the Australian wine industry's sustainability credentials.
