Wine Tourism Resources
A dedicated Wine Tourism Resources website is being developed to complement the new national Wine & Food Tourism Strategy and is due for completion early in 2012.
In the meantime, the following resources are still available.
Wine Tourism Toolkit
This interactive CD provides practical information to winery operators who are looking to maximise the opportunities offered through wine tourism.
It includes information on expanding winery businesses or integrating with other businesses to offer additional tourism options, such as accommodation, restaurant or food facilities, merchandise and special events. Information on business planning and marketing is also included, with several examples of real-life case studies around Australia.
Produced with the support of the Department of Industry, Tourism & Resources, the CD was distributed to all Australian wineries in 2005. WFA members can receive a free copy by contacting
robin@wfa.org.au. Non-members can purchase the CD for $95+GST.

Wine Tourism Uncorked
WFA and the Department of Industry, Tourism & Resources developed and released Wine Tourism Uncorked in 2008. This full-colour publication provides case studies of 24 successful Australian wineries and documents the challenges and opportunities wine tourism offers. Copies are available by contacting WFA on (08) 8222 9255 or wfa@wfa.org.au
Wine Tourism Uncorked builds on a series of fact sheets released in 2003 and still available online. While some references are now out of date, the basic information remains sound.
