Joint membership of the Winemakers' Federation of Australia
and Queensland Wine Industry Association
The Winemakers' Federation of Australia (WFA) and Queensland
Wine Industry Association (QWIA) are pleased to announce a joint
membership offer for Queensland Wineries for the 2008/09 financial
year. The offer is open to Queensland Wineries with annual production
below 2,000 tonnes, and the WFA is offering a discount on its
usual levy for those selecting joint membership.
The WFA believes in a robust and effective state association
for Queensland wineries, and will be working closely with the
QWIA to ensure that state and national policy and strategic
issues align, to maximise the effectiveness of all our advocacy
efforts at state and national levels.
It makes sense, therefore, to line up our membership offer
as well.
In offering this joint membership we can:
Please note that if you do not wish to take out joint membership
but wish to remain a member of either the Winemakers' Federation
of Australia or Queensland Wine Industry Association, you must
fill out a separate membership form. The WFA membership information
is available here
and QWIA information is available here.
The unity and cooperation between Australia’s wineries
is one of our greatest strengths, and it is through this collaboration
that our sector will continue to enjoy future success. Your
industry associations require your support to best represent
and assist your businesses on both national and state issues,
and we would encourage you to consider the information enclosed
and take up association membership.
Please feel free to contact either association with any questions
or comments.
