Membership Options

WFA membership is open to all Australian wine producers according to three categories:

  • Small – less than 2,000 tonnes
  • Medium – between 2,000 and 100,000 tonnes
  • Large – more than 100,000 tonnes

Each category has its own committee, which contributes to the deliberations of the WFA Board. The Small Winemakers' Membership Committee includes representatives of the six state wine industry associations.

Small and medium category membership also is offered to contract grape and wine processors.

Small Victorian or Queensland wine producers can opt for joint membership of WFA and the Victorian Wine Industry Association (VWIA) or the Queensland Wine Industry Association (QWIA).

Other companies and individuals can formally associate with WFA via our Partner Network. Click here for all fee information and access to application forms or online application. Click here to read about our Member Benefits.
