- Wineries with 2008 crush below 100 tonnes pay only the base membership fee of $400 including GST.
- Wineries with 2008 crush between 101 tonnes and 500 tonnes pay the base membership rate plus a levy of $3.00 per tonne (including GST) on production above 100 tonnes.
- For wineries that have a 2008 crush above 500 tonnes, the following domestic and export sales levies (inc.GST) apply:
- Domestic levy of $0.0011666 per dollar of gross domestic sales revenue
- Export levy of $0.000175 per dollar of gross export sales revenue

Victorian wineries - Victorian wineries with annual production below 2,000 tonnes can take up discounted joint membership of the Winemakers' Federation and Victorian Wine Industry Association.
