Alcohol Advertising
All wineries are expected to comply with the Alcohol Beverage Advertising Code (ABAC), which sets standards for the responsible advertising of alcohol in electronic, print and online forums. Complaints made about alcohol advertisements are handled by an independent adjudication panel and, if found to have breached the code, ads are expected to be withdrawn or modified to comply.

Producers undertaking any television or cinema advertising are expected to have their advertisements pre-vetted against ABAC prior to their filming. Details of the service provided by the Alcohol Advertising Pre-vetting Scheme, including a form to request pre-vetting, are found here.
