Future Leaders Program
The Future Leaders Program was launched in May 2006 to help develop the skills and potential of the next generation of wine industry leaders.
Specifically tailored to the wine sector, it is delivered by the not-for-profit Australian Rural Leadership Foundation.
The program has three main streams, each with its own objectives.
Leadership development
- increase participant involvement at national, state and regional levels (post program)
- develop self awareness and personal leadership skillsdevelop specific industry leadership skills pertinent to the wine industry
Industry knowledge
- increase and promote awareness of the roles and functions of industry bodies
- increase and promote awareness and understanding of broader wine industry issues
