Procedure and Costs
Membership applications can be made by completing and submitting the appropriate Membership Registration Form, either online or by downloading the appropriate form and faxing, posting or emailing it in to the WFA. A significant amount of information is required before completing this form. Please ensure you have all your data and details available, and that you have determined whether or not you can seek full membership or preliminary membership. Entwine Australia Members and Preliminary Members pay an annual fee of:
- $440 Inc. GST for winery sites that are not members of the WFA
- $110 Inc. GST for winery sites that are members of the WFA
- $110 Inc. GST for Vineyards
Fees are payable for each winery site or vineyard operation that is to join Entwine and are directly related to submission of data and certification. Winery fees are site specific. Vineyards fees are also site specific however if a company operates several vineyards within one region that are run as a single business (eg managed in the same way) only one fee payment and membership is required.
If a vineyard company manages multiple vineyards that are run separately (for example in different geographical regions) they will have to pay a fee for each operational area. The company that is responsible for the management of the vineyard is the entity that can join EntWine whether or not this includes land ownership.
Operators owning both a winery and a vineyard will be required to pay a separate fee for each.
Growers and winemakers also are responsible for the cost of their certification.
