The name Entwine
Australia was developed in conjunction with the Wine Industry National Environment Committee and the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation. In developing a name for the wine industries national environmental program there were three main concepts that needed to be incorporated (Environment, Wine and
Australia).

and

Australia’ into a name that conjuring notions of protection and wrapping and reflects the goal of harmoniously combining environmental outcomes with the production of wine. Additionally the name describes the growth pattern of vines on the trellis and the tendrils of the vines.
Members can feature the Entwine Australia logo on websites, marketing material and product labels, subject to use conditions.
To use the logo on wine labels (or to refer to the wine as meeting Entwine standards in promotional material) the wine must be produced in an Entwine Australia member winery and at least 85% of the grapes must be from Entwine Australia member vineyards that were members of Entwine for the full growing season of the grapes.
Guidelines for the use of the logo on wine packaging and promotional material with consideration of trademark law are being developed and will be made available to members on completion.
All Entwine Australia members will receive a complimentary farm gate sign displaying the Entwine Australia logo.
